Creating the Manuscripts 

The series was inspired by the Lindisfarne Gospels and the Book of Kells. The Celtic knotwork was drafted completely by hand, and begun on the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, England on St. Patrick's Day. Subsequent handwork was completed using traditional art media, in London, U.K. and California, U.S.A. The Small Catechism Series is located at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Hacienda Heights, California.
